PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic pump system that can reduce a noise generated from a hydraulic pump unit by reducing a pulsatile flow (pulsatile pressure) of the hydraulic pump unit by a control of a motor.SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump system includes: a motor rotating signal receiving means 2 that receives motor rotating signals; a torque overlapping instruction value calculating means that calculates a torque overlapping instruction value as a rotation frequency of a first torque overlapping instruction order being an integral multiplication of the number of teeth of a gear based on the motor rotating signals, and a torque overlapping instruction value as a rotation frequency of a second torque overlapping instruction order being the integral multiplication obtained by multiplying the number of poles and the number of phases of the motor; and a motor driving instruction current calculating means 4 that generates a motor driving instruction current by adding a reference current signal based on a reference current instruction value and an overlapping current signal based on a torque overlapping instruction value. The hydraulic pump system controls the drive of the motor based on the motor driving instruction current.
