PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switchgear which can improve operability or a method for assembling the switchgear.SOLUTION: There is provided a switchgear including a plurality of switch units 2, 3, 4, 5 each having a movable electrode driven in a horizontal direction to contact or leave a fixed electrode; a plurality of operation mechanisms 8, 9 for operating the movable electrodes of the plurality of switch units 2, 3, 4, 5; bus connection parts 13, 14 provided to the switch units 2, 3, 4, 5 and connected to buses A, B; and a case housing all of the bus connection parts 13, 14, the plurality of switch units 2, 3, 4, 5, and the plurality of operation mechanisms 8, 9. The switch units 2, 3, 4, 5 are arranged in a height direction, the plurality of operation mechanisms 8, 9 are arranged on a front side or back side of the case, and the plurality of bus connection parts 13, 14 are arranged on the other side of the case. |
