PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a yoke assembly for a torque detection apparatus, capable of suppressing reduction in positioning accuracy of a yoke ring by enhancing rigidity of a positioning pin.SOLUTION: Magnetic pole claws 8 of yoke rings 2, 3 are composed of inner extension parts 8A extending from an inner peripheral edge of each of annular parts 2A, 3A inwardly in a radial direction and claw parts 8B extending from an inner edge part of the inner extension part 8A in an axial length direction. A short positioning pin 11 in an axial length direction or a long positioning pin 12 in an axial length direction, erected in a molding die, is penetrated into each of positioning holes 9, 10 formed in at least one inner extension part 8A of the magnetic pole claw 8 of each of the yoke rings 2, 3 and penetrating in the axial length direction, the molding die is filled with resin to mold a yoke assembly in a state positioned by an individual positioning pin. Since it is unnecessary to set the positioning pin to a diameter smaller than the positioning hole of the yoke ring over the whole length to perform die cutting, the long positioning pin 12 can be prepared as a shape securing required rigidity. |
