PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify furniture included in moving image data photographed by an image pickup device such as a video camera device.SOLUTION: A furniture candidate area extraction part 101 extracts a furniture candidate area as the candidate of a furniture area including furniture from frame image data from a video input part 1 by referring to furniture model data 81 including the data of the featured value of an image of each classification of furniture. A motion vector calculation part 102 calculates a motion vector showing the movement of any mobile object other than furniture by using moving image data including the extracted furniture candidate area. A furniture area identification part 6 calculates a correlation value between the calculated motion vector and a motion model vector by referring to a predetermined motion model vector corresponding to the motion of a unique person for each classification of furniture, and when the calculated correlation value is not less than a predetermined threshold, determines that the furniture candidate area is a furniture area, and specifies the classification of the furniture included in the furniture candidate area. |
