PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for stabilizing a lens shift operation for each lens while controlling lens shift drive suitable for a weight of a projection lens to be mounted by mounting a weight measuring sensor in a projection type display device and determining the weight by means of the weight measuring sensor.SOLUTION: In a projector body 10, a lens shift section 20 comprises a mount part 21 constituting the base of a shift mechanism, a flange part 22 in which a projection lens 90 is mounted, a flange holding part 23 which holds the flange part 22, a slide part 24 which performs vertical shift movement, a shaft part 26 which drives the slide part in a shift direction, a motor part 25 which rotates the shaft part 26, and first and second weight measuring sensors 27 and 28 for measuring a weight of the mounted projection lens 90. A lens shift control section 40 includes a first computing unit 41, a second computing unit 42 and an adjusting unit 43. The adjusting unit 43 controls the motor part 25 in accordance with the detected weight. |
