The method involves inserting a yarn into an opened injection molding tool, which defines a plastic body. The yarn is injection molded in a closed injection molding tool in a yarn section during production of the plastic body. The plastic body is removed from the injection molding tool after an injection molding process. The yarn projecting at the produced plastic body in the injection molding tool is cut. The produced plastic body is held by the yarn in the injection molding tool before cutting. An independent claim is also included for an injection molding device.
