The system has a hot gas channel for conveying hot gas heated from a hot gas generator to a heat exchanger (8) i.e. gas primary medium-liquid secondary medium heat exchanger. A hot water channel conveys liquid secondary medium from the heat exchanger. A chimney oven (1) comprises a combustion chamber (2) with a cladding volume part that is arranged at the combustion chamber. The cladding volume part comprises outer and inner cladding gears (16, 20) arranged with each other with a cladding gear partition wall (21) i.e. heat insulating component. The chimney oven is designed as a wood-distilling apparatus. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for operating a heat system (2) a heat exchanger box.
