PURPOSE: A mold powder inserting device for a continuous casting is provided to minimize a mold powder loss by preventing the mold powder from being scattered and to improve maintenance performance by simplifying facilities. CONSTITUTION: A mold powder inserting device for a continuous casting comprises a main hopper(100), an auxiliary hopper(330), and a control box(400). Mold powder is loaded on the main hopper. The auxiliary hopper is connected to the main hopper through a supply line so that the mold powder is supplied to the auxiliary hopper. A predetermined space is formed inside the auxiliary hopper, and an air spraying unit is formed inside the predetermined space so that the mold powder is sprayed and inserted into a molten material surface. The control box is connected to the air spraying unit, thereby controlling a compressed gas supply. |
