PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transport power efficiently from a transmission coil to a reception coil while detecting the fact that a foreign matter has been set in a power base reliably and stably, with simple circuitry.SOLUTION: The power transport method sets a portable device 50 on a power base 10, and transports power from a transmission coil 11 to a reception coil 51 by electromagnetic induction, by moving the transmission coil 11 of the power base 10 to a position close to the reception coil 51 of the portable device 50. The power transport method detects the position of the reception coil 51, and the power maximum position of the transmission coil 11 where power consumption of the transmission coil 11 is maximum, and detects the fact that a foreign matter S has been set in the power base 10 from positional deviation of the power maximum position of the transmission coil 11 and the position of the reception coil 51. |
