PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a sealing material achieving high reliability and reducing the manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 10 according to one embodiment of this invention includes: a light emitting element 2; and a sealing material 6 sealing the light emitting element 2. The sealing material 6 includes: a first layer 6a contacting with the light emitting element 2 and formed of a radical polymerization type resin; and a second layer 6b covering an upper surface of the first layer 6a and formed of a non-radical polymerization type resin. |
