A steriliser (1) for medical instruments comprising a sterilisation chamber (20) defining an inner space (21) suitable for containing medical instruments and pressurised sterilisation fluid; a hatch (30) suitable to hermetically seal the inner space (21); a closure system (40) suitable to firmly constrain the hatch (30) to the sterilisation chamber (20); at least one discharge valve (50) suitable for placing the inner space (21) in connection for fluid passage with the outside, and a control unit (60) suitable to control the discharge valve (50) and the closure system (40) defining an open configuration in which said hatch (30) is movable in relation to said sterilisation chamber (20) and in which said at least one discharge valve (50) forms said connection for fluid passage; a closed configuration in which the hatch (30) is firmly constrained to the sterilisation chamber (20) and in which the discharge valve (20) prevents the aforesaid connection for fluid passage; and an intermediate configuration, positioned between the open and closed configurations, in which the discharge valves (50) permit the connection for fluid passage between the inner space (21) and the outside and in which the hatch (30) is firmly constrained to the sterilisation chamber (20). |
