[Problem] To prevent the opening of a lid in a safety device for a case having a lid and used together with a push-push mechanism. [Solution] A safety device (5) used together with a push-push mechanism (4) in a storage case (1), the safety device having: a lock pin device (70) rotatably supported in the case and equipped with a lock pin (78); and a lock member (28) provided on the lid side and equipped with a cam groove (71) for accommodating the lock pin when a prescribed acceleration is generated in the storage case. The cam groove (71) has at least three first grooves (97), which extend in the opening/closing direction of the lid and have an opening-direction end part and a closing-direction end part, and are arranged in parallel with a prescribed interval therebetween, and multiple second grooves (98), which connect the closing-direction end parts of the first grooves (97) and the middle parts in the opening/closing direction of the adjacent first grooves.
