The present invention provides a mobile terminal for implementing customization of a contact attribute and a method thereof. The mobile terminal comprises a user interaction module, a database module, and an extensible markup language (XML) generation and parsing module. The user interaction module is set to provide a contact attribute change operation for a user; the database module is set to store all information of a contact, comprising contact change information, a contact attribute, and attribute value change information; and the XML generation and parsing module is set to write the contact attribute into an XML file in an XML format according to data received by the user interaction module, so as to generate an XML file. The present invention can implement a mobile terminal and a method for customizing a contact attribute, and can enable a user to customize a contact attribute and can implement cross-platform transmission of the contact attribute customized by the user. |
