The simulator has a robot (12) with a robotic arm (14) controlled by a simulator routine for simulation of movements of a ski and/or a board (16). A connector (18) fastens the ski and/or board at the robotic arm. A controller controls movements of the robotic arm such that the movements of the ski and/or board are simulated based on the simulator routine. A moment sensor (20) measures and/or derives forces and/or moments i.e. six degrees of freedom, which are applied on users (22) standing on the ski or the board. The sensor is arranged between the arm and the ski and/or the board. An independent claim is also included for a method for simulation of movements of a ski or a board.
