PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for a light bulb used when an incandescent light bulb of downlight is exchanged to an LED light bulb, and that can arbitrarily adjust a lighting direction by the LED light bulb, and further can arrange the LED light bulb as high as possible to prevent appearance reduction caused by downward projection of a lower end of the LED light bulb from a lamp case.SOLUTION: An adapter for a light bulb comprises: a power supply connection part 30 having a metal cap 31 for power supply connection removably connected to a power supply socket 3 for a light bulb; a light bulb connection part 40 having a socket 41 for light bulb connection to which a metal cap 13 of an LED light bulb 10 is connected; and a movable supporting part 50 freely rotatably supported by the power supply connection part 30 around a first axis L1 along a center line of the metal cap 31 for power supply connection, and supporting the light bulb connection part 40 freely rotatably around a second axis L2 perpendicular to the first axis L1 three-dimensionally or two-dimensionally, and position-adjustably in a direction of a third axis L3 perpendicular to the first and second axes L1 and L2. |
