PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device allowing flexible change of a pass line in a part or the whole of the coating device in response to change of a product material, a number of coating, a coating surface of a web or the like.SOLUTION: A coating device 1 includes a supply region 3 having a supply roller 11 for delivering a web T, a coating region 5 having a coater means 12 to apply a coating liquid, a drying region 7 for drying the coating liquid, and a winding region 9 having a winding roller 17 for winding the web T, wherein, in the coating region 5, a single coating unit 6 is formed as a whole by arranging one or more feed rollers 18 and the coater means 12 are arranged in a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped partition space 21, and the coating unit 6 is structured such that the web T can get in and out of any of four virtual planes 21a-21d positioned by surrounding a circumferential surface of the feed roller 18. |
