PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matte-toned coated fancy paper for printing having a feeling of uncoated paper, hardly causing a scratch and a rubbing stain, having good ink drying properties and good printing quality.SOLUTION: The matte-toned coated fancy paper has a pigment coating layer, which is formed by a coating apparatus based on a non-contact measuring system and comprises a pigment and a binder as main components, on at least one side of base paper. The pigment coating layer contains 5 pts.mass or more and less than 40 pts.mass of talc having an average particle diameter of 2.0 to 4.0 μm on the basis of 100 pts.mass total pigment, contains 30 pts.mass or more of precipitated calcium carbonate and/or ground calcium carbonate, and has a coated amount after drying is 3 to 15 g/mper one side. The coated fancy paper has a white paper glossiness of the coated surface of 3 or more and less than 20 measured according to ISO 8254-1 (1999) at an incidence and light receiving angle of 75 degree. |
