PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device and a recording method, and a reproducing device and a reproducing method for allowing a user to easily grasp a sequence of view history about a program in a recording apparatus at a destination so as to increase convenience for the user, even when a received and recorded program is transferred to another apparatus.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises receiving means, control means, recording means, and communication means. The receiving means receives a broadcast stream including a program and program information thereof. The control means adds reproduction information of the program to the program information in the stream received by the receiving means and multiplexes the program information to which the reproduction information is added in the stream. The recording means records the multiplexed stream in which the reproduction information is added to the program information by the control means. The communication means enables the stream recorded by the recording means to be distributed outside. |
