PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently secure a free capacity in a non-volatile memory.SOLUTION: A control part manages data processing in a non-volatile memory in which writing and reading of data is performed by page units, and deletion of data is performed by block units by performing logical/physical translation by TU(Translation Unit) units, and performs fold processing. On the basis of unnecessary logical TU information showing logical TU corresponding to physical TU in which physically unnecessary data is written, which is reported by a file system, the control part sets the data of physical TU corresponding to the unnecessary logical TU information to an object to be uncopied in the fold processing. This technology can be applied to a device which performs memory management. |
