摘要 <p>A thermal transfer printer comprises a frame, a printing mechanism (2) and a carbon ribbon mechanism (3). The frame comprises a base (100), a carbon ribbon bracket (300) pivoted the base (100) through their respective pivot axis, and an upper cover (200), furtherly comprises a linkage mechanism (400) used to open the carbon ribbon bracket (300) in linkage when the upper cover (200) is opened relative to the base (100). The linkage mechanism (400) comprises a driving member fixedly connected to the upper cover (200) and a driven member fixedly connected to the carbon ribbon bracket (300), wherein the rotation axis of the driving member is coaxial with the pivot axis of the upper cover (200), and the rotation axis of the driven member is coaxial with the pivot axis of the carbon ribbon bracket (300). The driving member and the driven member are engaged directly or indirectly. The rotational direction of the driving member and the driven member are the same. An operating space for installing the carbon ribbon is formed between the upper cover (200) and the carbon ribbon bracket (300) when the upper cover (200) is open. With regard to the thermal transfer printer, the operator could open the carbon ribbon bracket (300) in linkage and complete replacing the carbon ribbon or paper reel through opening the upper cover (200) once merely, it is simple in operation and convenient in maintenance.</p>
