PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of improving light use efficiency by a simple structure while attempting the high luminance of illumination light.SOLUTION: A lighting device includes one or a plurality of light sources 10A, 10B, and 10C having solid light-emitting elements for emitting light from a light emitting zone formed of a plurality of light-emitting spots arranged along a designated direction, and an optical member 1A for emitting light incident from the solid light-emitting element side while passing therethrough. The optical member 1A has one or a plurality of coupling lenses 20A, 20B, and 20C for changing a directive angle of the light incident from the solid light-emitting element side. A lens action along the designated direction becomes smaller than a lens action along a direction perpendicular to the designated direction in the light emitting zone on the first coupling lens entering a laser beam emitted from the solid light-emitting element having the plurality of light-emitting spots out of one or the plurality of coupling lenses 20A, 20B, and 20C. |
