PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly develop a curtain airbag by adequately transforming a member that covers an end of a longitudinal direction of the curtain airbag that is folded and stored in a minute length shape during inflation deployment.SOLUTION: A jet nozzle 28A jets the gas forward right under the edge 24A along the edge 24A. An air chamber 30 is formed with a pair of opposing clothes 24 in a vehicle width direction and contains a front air chamber 30A, a gas introduction road 30B, and a back air chamber 30C. An upper end air chamber 32 that extends right under the edge 24A along the edge 24A is formed with the upper end portion of the front air chamber 30A, the upper end portion of the gas introduction road 30B, and the upper end portion of the back air chamber 30C. A pair of clothes 24 are coupled with a part near the front end of the upper end air chamber 32 to which the jet nozzle 28A is turned and the part near the edge 24A, and an air flow adjusting structure 36 that inclines the direction of the air flow of the gas that is gushed from the jet nozzle 28A downward, and decreases the amount of the other side air flow to the front end of upper end air chamber 32 is installed. |
