PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a blur correction image with sufficient image quality.SOLUTION: A posture change detection section 16 detects a posture change of an imaging apparatus body. A blur correction section 15 corrects a blur of a captured image, which is caused by the posture change of the imaging apparatus body. A distortion correction section 14a corrects a distortion of the captured image, which is caused by the posture change of the imaging apparatus body. A control section 20a allows the blur correction section 15 to correct the blur in response to the posture change detected by the posture change detection section 16. The control section 20a performs limit processing to the posture change detected by the posture change detection section 16, and allows the distortion correction section 14a to correct the distortion in response to the posture change after the limit processing. Since a spread of a region without an image in the image after distortion correction is limited by correcting the distortion in response to the posture change after the limit processing, a field angle of a blur correction image is prevented from becoming small and deterioration of image quality due to enlargement of the image is reduced. |
