A control section 20a allows the blur correction section 15 to correct the blur in response to the posture change detected by the posture change detection section 16. The control section 20a performs limit processing to the posture change detected by the posture change detection section 16, and allows the distortion correction section 14a to correct the distortion in response to the posture change after the limit processing. Since a spread of a region without an image in the image after distortion correction is limited by correcting the distortion in response to the posture change after the limit processing, a field angle of a blur correction image is prevented from becoming small and deterioration of image quality due to enlargement of the image is reduced.
