PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance system for refining having a powder blowing function and a flame forming function, in which formation of flames is reliably detected by a flame detector.SOLUTION: A lance system for refining includes a lance body 11 including a powder flow channel 12 and a gas flow channel 13, a powder supply pipe 15 connected to the powder flow channel 12 for supplying powder, a first gas pipeline 16 connected to the powder flow channel 12 for supplying first gas for forming flames, a second gas pipeline 17 connected to the gas flow channel 13 for supplying second gas for forming flames, a flame detector 14 provided at the top portion of the lance body 11 for detecting flames formed by reaction of first gas and second gas at the lower end of the lance body 11, and a protection valve 20 provided between the flame detector 14 and the lance body 11, in which the protection valve 20 is closed when powder is supplied from the powder supply pipe 15 to the powder flow channel 12 and the protection valve 20 is opened when the supply of the powder is stopped and flames are formed. |
