PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus capable of outputting broad band light in a near-infrared area.SOLUTION: A light source apparatus 1 includes a halogen light source 11, a light-guiding optical system 13, a xenon light source 21, an optical filter 22, and a light-guiding optical system 23. The optical filter 22 is a long pass filter for selectively transmitting light of a second band of the long wavelength side longer than a first band in which a bright line spectrum exists out of wavelength bands of light outputted from the xenon light source 21 and selectively breaks light of the first band. In the light-guiding optical systems 13, 23, light outputted from the halogen light source 11 and light outputted from the xenon light source 21 and transmitted through the optical filter 22 are guided, these light beams are multiplexed and the multiplexed light is applied to an object 3. |
