PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nesting chair with excellent operability and comfortableness.SOLUTION: A chair includes: a leg device, a seat 2, and a backrest 3. In the leg device 1, the height and angle of branched legs are designed to be longitudinally nestable. The backrest 3 is tilted backward around a first spindle 12 at an upper end front portion of a support frame 9. The seat 2 is connected to the lower end of the backrest 3 through a second spindle 15, and the seat 2 is moved forward when the backrest 3 is tilted backward. Since the seat is moved forward in rocking, the chair has excellent relaxing performance in spite that it is nestable. The contact surfaces of support portions 58, 59 of the seat 2 by a fixed base 8 are inclined surfaces, and the seat 2 is raised while moving forward. Therefore, the resistance to rocking is changed according to the weight of a user without adjustment of the initial elastic force of a spring means each time. |
