PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyalkylene glycol-based polymer capable of showing especially excellent retentivity, and useful for various applications, especially for application to a dispersant or an admixture of inorganic particles such as cement, and to provide a dispersant (inorganic particle dispersant), an admixture (inorganic particle admixture) and an inorganic particle composition using the same.SOLUTION: In a polyalkylene glycol-based polymer, which is a polymer having a structural unit derived from a vinyl monomer and a polyalkylene glycol chain in a main chain, the polymer has a structure in which a terminal oxygen atom on at least one terminal of a polyalkylene glycol chain is bonded to a main chain terminal of the structural unit derived from the vinyl monomer directly or through an organic residue, wherein the vinyl monomer contains a 1-99 mol% monomer having a hydrolyzable group with respect to the 100 mol% total amount of the vinyl monomer, and contains a 1-99 mol% unsaturated polyalkylene glycol-based polymer. |
