PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate similarity when a plurality of types of deformations are generated.SOLUTION: When the plurality of partial images of an input image are respectively deformed with such different deformation configurations as the parallel movement or rotation of an object, each of those partial images is deformed robustly to the parallel movement or robustly to the rotation, and partial similarities are calculated. Then, the partial similarities are weighted, and the image similarity of the input image is output. In this case, a search range is set on the basis of the dependence of the partial images so that it is possible to narrow the search range, and to shorten a time to calculate the partial similarities. |
