PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having high efficiency without using an inverter circuit, and to provide a refrigeration cycle device mounted with the compressor.SOLUTION: A compressor includes a stator that generates a rotating magnetic field by energization of coils, and a rotator that has a permanent magnet in a metal frame and rotates by an induction current flowing in the metal frame by the rotating magnetic field, and functions in such a way that an orbiting scroll orbits associating with rotation of the rotator via a crankshaft with respect to a fixed scroll and that spiral wraps of the scrolls mesh with each other to constitute a compression chamber. The crankshaft and the rotator are disposed inside a high-pressure chamber filled with a refrigerant at a high pressure imparted by the compression chamber, while the stator is disposed outside the high-pressure chamber. A partition plate composed of a nonmagnetic material member and a plurality of magnetic material members is disposed between the rotator and the stator for partitioning the inside of the high-pressure chamber from the outside; and the rotating magnetic field from the stator to the rotator is formed by the plurality of magnetic material members. |
