PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an authentication device which can secure high security.SOLUTION: A control panel 200 is used to input authentication information. An authentication condition holding unit 401 holds an authentication condition. An authentication unit 402 determines whether or not the authentication information input from the control panel 200 satisfies the authentication condition held by the authentication condition holding unit 401. An authentication condition update unit 403 registers a new authentication condition uniquely generated to the authentication condition holding unit 401 to substitute the authentication condition held in advance, at a preliminary designated timing. A notification unit 404 causes the new authentication condition generated by the authentication condition update unit 403 to be notified of with an identifier which specifically identifies an image processing device.
