PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope cleaning tool for an elevator, capable of efficiently removing grease from a plurality of wire ropes.SOLUTION: A rope cleaning tool 11 comprises a pair of bases 12a, 12b and a plurality of rotating members 15. The bases 12a, 12b comprise upper and lower two stages in an axial direction of a plurality of wire ropes 10a-10f to be cleaned, and are attached via spacers 16 for interval adjustment so that the wire ropes 10a-10f are collectively held from both sides. The rotating members 15 are rotatably attached to the wire ropes 10a-10f in a staggered manner in conformity with the positions of upper stage parts 13a, 13b and lower stage parts 14a, 14b of the bases 12a, 12b. The rotating members 15 abut against the upper stage parts 13a, 13b and the lower stage parts 14a, 14b and are rotated to remove grease by the movement of the wire ropes 10a-10f in one direction. |
