<p>A light emitting device comprises: an excitation light source (201), used for generating excitation light (201a); a wavelength converting device (205) comprising a wavelength converting layer, the wavelength converting layer comprising a first wavelength converting material, the first wavelength converting material being used for absorbing the excitation light (201a) to generate excited light (205a, 205b), and the wavelength converting device (205) outputting a part of the excited light (205b) or outputting mixed light of the excited light and the excitation light; a first filtering device (203), disposed at the incident side of the excitation light (201a) of the wavelength converting device (205), the first filtering device (203) comprising a first filtering area, the first filtering area being used for reflecting light (203b) in a first wavelength range of the excited light generated by the first wavelength converting material and transmitting the excitation light (201a) and light (203a) in the rest wavelength range of the excited light generated by the first wavelength converting material.
