PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous release agent composition for molding a polyurethane foam, which combines excellent dryability of solvent of an aqueous release agent with stability of hydrocarbon wax emulsified dispersed emulsion and which has excellent cell open property and release property.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous release agent composition for molding a polyurethane foam, which is formed by emulsion dispersion of hydrocarbon wax in water by using emulsifier. The aqueous release agent composition contains in its component: univalent saturated higher alcohol (A) containing univalent saturated higher alcohol of the number of carbons 16 to 42 in an amount of at least 50 mass%; and/or saturated higher fatty acid (B) containing saturated higher fatty acid of the number of carbons 22 to 36; and univalent lower alcohol (C) of the number of carbons 1 or 2.
