PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion flexible joint to which a joint pipe can be connected without applying additional treatment to the joint pipe and which absorbs expansion/contraction of the joint pipe while effectively dispersing a load so as to prevent damage of a joint portion and piping when force exceeding a predetermined level is applied after connection, has a simple inner structure without requiring exchange of a component, is easily assembled and has good expansion/contraction performance and flexibility.SOLUTION: In an expansion flexible joint, a joint pipe 2 having a flange part 13 at a tip on an insertion side is sealed and water-tightly held in a joint body 1 to enable expansion/contraction. A separate or integrated annular spacer 4 is installed at a root portion of the flange part 13, and a cylindrical member 3 fitted to the joint pipe 2 is arranged on an inner periphery on an opening side of the joint body 1. A circumferential clearance 15 smaller than an outer diameter of the annular spacer 4 is formed on the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical member 3. When force exceeding a predetermined level in the axial direction is applied to the joint pipe 2, the annular spacer 4 is press-fitted to a back side position of the circumferential clearance 15. |
