PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage license of software of an image processing apparatus in an information processing apparatus without load of acquiring the license of software from the image processing apparatus.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: an HDD for storing license data comprising an expiration date of license of an application of a multi function peripheral and update propriety information showing whether the license is updatable; an update period determination unit 153 for determining whether current time is within an update period; an update propriety determination unit 154 for determining whether the license of the application is updatable on the basis of the update propriety information; a transmitting unit 155 for transmitting an update urging report to a mediation device when the current time is within the update period and the license of the application is determined to be updatable; a receiving unit 156 for receiving updated license data from the mediation device; and an update unit 157 for updating the license of the application with the updated license data. |
