PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an injection molding metal mold, configured to lay heat medium piping, even in a region of a complicated design shape.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an injection molding metal mold comprise: a precess for forming a primary model 5 having, at a side opposite to the design transfer face 2, a groove 6 which can be laid while a portion of a design transfer face 2 and heat medium piping 3 is embedded by using a heat soluble material; a step of laying the heat medium piping 3 at the primary model 5 along the groove 6; a step of forming a sand mold 7 by covering and solidifying circumferences of the primary model 5 and the heat medium piping 3 by using casting sand 8; a step of melting and removing the primary model 5 in the sand mold 7, and molding a secondary model 9 by filling molten metal into a cavity which is formed; a step of taking out the secondary model 9 by removing the casting sand 8; and a step of forming a backup layer 11 at a side opposite to the transfer face of the secondary model. |
