PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an ink cartridge 10 attached to a holder 50 is turned in some cases due to individual differences of the ink cartridge 10 and tilting of ink around a prism becomes notable and reduces the detection precision of an ink remaining state when the prism of an ink cartridge 10 is set at a position away from a rotation center.SOLUTION: A left side surface 10d of an ink cartridge 10 has a lever 11, which biases the ink cartridge 10, which is attached to a holder 50, to a right side surface 10c side. A bottom surface 10b has a prism 17, which optically detects the remaining state of ink of the ink cartridge 10, and a degree abutting part 15, which abuts the holder 50. The distance between the prism 17 and an end in the right side surface 10c side is shorter than the distance between the prism 17 and an end in the left side surface 10d side. The degree abutting part 15 is positioned between the prism 17 and the end in the right side surface 10c side. |
