PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simply producing an alloy-based thermoelectric material having a high degree of crystal orientation, and to provide a thermoelectric material.SOLUTION: An alloy-based thermoelectric material is produced by a production method including the steps of preparing a raw material of a base material of alloy-based thermoelectric material, and nanoparticles composed of a material having crystal magnetic anisotropy and dispersing phonons, dispersing nanoparticles into a molten metal of the base material, orienting the nanoparticles by applying a magnetic field to the base material into which the nanoparticles are dispersed, and solidifying the base material while maintaining the orientation state of the nanoparticles. |
