[Problem] To provide a force-multiplying bearing, which has a simple force multiplication- or enhancement-obtaining structure because rotational force applied on the outer race is input to the inner race as a multiplied force and the means therefor can be implemented on a single axis. [Solution] The basic bearing disc is a multiple race bearing in which a middle race is provided between the inner race and the outer race and which is obtained by interposing rolling elements between the respective races so that the races are capable of rotating with respect to each other. An annular cavity into which levers are fitted in a row around the center is provided as a lowered step on the upper surface of the basic disc. Additionally, wave-shaped sliding surfaces, against which the levers press, are formed on the inner race and the outer race as the riser surfaces of the annular cavity. The pitch of the waveform at the outer race is formed to be wider than the pitch at the inner race. The arrangement of the levers is configured so that: the levers are pivotally supported on the middle race by check pins; levers that contact the sliding surface of the outer race or other auxiliary levers that have said levers as the main lever and operate cooperatively therewith contact the sliding surface of the inner race; and as a result of said lever arrangement, the pressing force received from the sliding surface of the outer race that follows the waveform thereof presses on the sliding surface of the inner race via one or multiple levers and is able to move the peaks of the waveform rotationally in order using said pressing force. |
