A computer-implemented method for providing merchants to a user comprises providing, on a graphical user interface of an electronic device of the user, a directory of one or more merchant cards, each merchant card having information of or related to a given merchant. Each merchant card from the one or more merchant cards is configured to permit the user to initiate an electronic transaction with a merchant associated with the merchant card. At least one of the one or more merchant cards includes a widget that provides content that, with the aid of a processor, is generated in view of one or more user-specific merchant relevance criteria. |
