The mounting assembly (10) has bearing receiving portion (18) for supporting a crankshaft of internal combustion engine. A screw element (20) is provided with three external threads (22, 24, 26). The bearing elements (12,14) are screwed to crankcase by external threads (22,24) respectively. The bearing elements are connected to each other and secured at crankcase, by external thread (26).
