<p>The separator (2) has a wall (31) sectionally limiting a transfer region (25) in a circumferential direction of a separating rotor (19). A guide element (28) is arranged in the transfer region, and influences flow of crop material residue, which is emerged in the transfer region and is conveyed to a handling unit i.e. straw chopper (8), arranged below the transfer region. The element is arranged on a housing (18) such that a position of the guide element is changed in a circumferential direction of the housing by an actuator e.g. mechanical actuator or hydraulic actuator or pneumatic actuator. An independent claim is also included for a control unit for an axial separator for a combine harvester.</p> |
