The present invention relates to a pipe welding robot and more specifically, the invention is inserted into the circumference of a pipe and comprises a robot body (0100), robot torch unit (0200), a robot clamp unit (0300), a robot clamp center A (0600), and a robot clamp center B (0700). The pipe (0000) is fixed by the robot clamp (0300) and welded. A method for fixing the pipe (0000) comprises a step of: 1) inserting the pipe (0000) between the bearing A (0304) and the clamp body bearing (0305) by the robot clamp unit (0300) of a clamp like large and small pipe welding; 2) pressing the pipe by a pressing handle (0312) of the clamp to fix the pipe by both moving rolls (0511); 3) welding the circumference of the pipe by a driving gear motor set (0500) like a welder driving the torch unit to the front, rear, top and bottom sides of the robot body (0100). The invention is capable of providing improved workability and certain quality regardless of the skill level of the welder as the welding is performed along a track installed on the outer surface of the pipe. |
