<p>The invention provides a vehicle brake locking device and a straddle-type vehicle having the same. At the time of brake locking, a mechanical brake is maintained under the state of braking and prevent a hydraulic brake from generating hydraulic pressure. The vehicle brake locking device comprises a linkage arrangement which provides a braking force to two brakes corresponding to the operation of a linking operation part, a brake locking operation component which can maintain the linking operation component under an operation state. The linkage arrangement comprises a cylinder body generating hydraulic pressure, a push arm with a middle part being rotatable and an abutting part being disposed on the cylinder body in a manner that the cylinder body is suppressed through abutting and a pushing part pushes the main cylinder when resisting a spring force to rotate, and an equalizer which is rotatably disposed on the push arm with a middle part between two ends being connected to a transmission component from the linking operation component and another end side being connected to a transmission component from the mechanical brake. The brake locking operation component is connected to a transmission component from the push arm.</p> |
