<p>The method involves removing counterbalance weights (2.1-2.8) up to a mark at a counterbalance (2), and venting a holding brake. A booth is moved into an evacuation position by induced imbalance between weight of the counterbalance and weight of the booth. Marks are attached on the counterbalance. A counterbalance protective shield is removed to release access to the counterbalance. The counterbalance protective shield and the counterbalance weights are temporarily stored outside of a lift shaft before venting the holding brake. An independent claim is also included for a lift.</p> |
