A damage prevention method of a virus using a message and a terminal therefor are provided to improve the security of the message by preventing the virus and to prevent the overload of network and the terminal in which a plurality of messages is generated. If the number of transmission attempt in a virus doubt message determining module(220) exceeds critical value, a display module(240) performs a function for confirming a terminal user that the message of a screen display part is a virus doubt message. If the interrupted message by the selection of the user is the virus message, the message is interrupted and deleted after a message transmission managing module indicates that the message of a screen display part is a virus doubt message by the display module. If the interrupted message by the selection of the user is not the virus message, the message is normally sent after the message transmission managing module indicates that the message of the screen display part is the virus doubt message. |
