<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display system and a video display method, wherein a desired portion of a video displayed on one video display device can be made to be easily displayed on the other video display device with intuitive operation of a user. <P>SOLUTION: Infrared elements 23, 24 installed to a plane display 20 and an infrared element 34 installed to a three-dimensional display 30 are imaged by observation devices 41, 42. A control unit 10 detects that the user holds the three-dimensional display 30 based on a detection signal of a touch sensor 33 provided in the three-dimensional display 30, detects that the user approaches inside a prescribed range of the plane display 20 based on images obtained by the observation devices 41, 42 and that the user performs the operation to designate the portion of the video displayed on the plane display 20, and makes the designated portion of the video be displayed on the three-dimensional display 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
