The device (1) has a first portion (21) comprising a multitude of sample receptacles (21a) adapted to receive a multitude of joining surface modules. A second portion (22) is connectable to the first portion such that a multitude of fluidically intercommunicating hydraulic cylinders (25) in one of the two portions load the joining surface modules simultaneously in a loading direction at a predetermined force that is identical in respect to all samples. An independent claim is included for method for applying directed contact pressure force to samples.
