PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber having nearly the same refractive index as a polycarbonate resin, a low spinning temperature, and a broad working temperature range, and to provide a glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate resin molding containing the glass fiber and having excellent transparency. SOLUTION: The glass fiber has a glass composition of a content of SiO<SB>2</SB>of 50 to 54%, a content of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of 7 to 12%, a total content of CaO and BaO of 16 to 32%, a content of La<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of 3 to 15%, and a content of ZnO of 4 to 10%, based on the total mass. The glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate resin molding prepared by molding a polycarbonate resin composition has a content of the glass fiber of 5 to 40% based on the total mass.
