<p>The invention relates to a vehicle restraint system for delimiting roadways, comprising guide beams (87) that are detachably placed next to each other. Each guide beam (87) comprises a housing-like base body (88) that can be arranged on the ground and a guide bar (98) disposed above the base body (88). On a first face (119) each base body (88) comprises an insertion pocket (120), and on another second face (121) it comprises an insertion flap (122). When two base bodies (88) are coupled to each other, the insertion flap (122) of the one base body (88) engages in the insertion pocket (120) of the adjoining base body. Pin-like projections (133), which engage in recesses (135) in the bottom web (134) of the insertion pocket (120), are provided on the bottom of the second face (121) of the base body (88).</p> |
